The Naperville Police Chaplain Association is proud to help churches and other faith based organizations build bridges by participating in the national Faith & Blue weekend.

Held between October 10 and 13, 2025, National Faith & Blue Weekend is designed to "facilitate safer and stronger communities by engaging law enforcement officers and local residents through the connections of faith-based organizations."

Participation can be as easy as inviting law enforcement officers to participate in service or other activities churches are already planning.

The Chaplains stand ready to help churches find a way to involve law enforcement in service or other events during Faith & Blue Weekend. The chaplains are committed to:

  1. Hosting an event at their own church,

  2. Sending an introductory email to local churches about the weekend,

  3. Sharing the toolkit from the Faith & Blue website which has a long list of example activities,

  4. Leveraging the chaplains’ unique position to coordinate and communicate between churches and the Naperville Police Department, and

  5. Helping track, record, and magnify 2025 events to make for an even better 2026.
